Team Ramy Update

So I was afraid if I started a blog, that I wouldn't post very often.  I guess I know myself pretty well.  We've been super busy, but I feel like we have nothing to show for it.  So I'm posting some super random stuff from the past few weeks.  Enjoy.

We went on a Halloween Cruise on the Provo River (yep, you read that right)...Ricky's face might make it seem like it was super fun...but then again, he might be faking...

I got my haircut.

We visited Ricky's nephew in the hospital after his appendix burst...poor kid didn't even crack a smile when his uncle was pulling the usual antics.

And finally, Halloween threw up on our front porch.

Whidbey Island

Last week, we camped with Ricky's family on Whidbey Island in Washington state.  I guess it's been awhile since I've had an extended camping trip...I forgot how much I love camping.  The campground was gorgeous, our campsite situated on a cliff overlooking the Puget Sound.  And Ricky's family is a blast.  We had a really great week.

These two joined us for the drives to and from Washington.  They were fantastic passengers.

**Update from last night, June 3.  Ricky bowled an amazing 197 and Steven bowled an almost perfect 279!!  He only had one spare and the rest were all strikes.  Crazy!

We recently joined a bowling league with my brothers.  We're doing it in honor of our dad...I think there still might be some bowling trophies on the top shelf of his closet.  And we've discovered that Steven is a natural...he has scored as high as 265 or something.  It's pretty impressive.  I'm the worst member of the team...but not far behind Ricky.

Being in the league makes me feel like a good American.

Check out those scores...we're a team and should be competing against the other teams...but my goal every game is just to beat Ricky. (Note: those scores include our handicaps...we're not actually bowling in the 200's yet.)

Vegas Baby

We headed down to Vegas for the weekend and had a great time.  Good friends.  Good food.  No sleep.  Swimming.  Shopping.  Dancing.  More food...although not all of it was good.

5K

We ran a 5K on Saturday and had a blast.  Besides waking up at 5:30am and the fact that it was freezing and raining...we still had a good time.  Hopefully Ricky will attempt another one someday...he did awesome.

I'm finally giving in...

People have been pestering me to start a blog for awhile now...and I'm finally doing it.  I can't commit to posting regularly or writing anything that's remotely interesting, but I'll try to keep everyone posted on the bigger events in our lives.  I'm also sharing this blog with my awesome husband, Ricky, so stay tuned for his funny posts...
